Adventure games are exactly that. You take your hero on an adventure. Unlike RPGs, you often don't have to
deal with stats and usually only control one or two characters. But unlike pure beatemups, there is usually a substantial
amount of story punctuating the action or at the very least some clever puzzles. Most adventure games feature heroes
that wield swords instead of guns.
